The Book at the Chair Master Shop

Simple pages describing basic, safe exercises that can be done while seated. The intention is not to limit movement or keep folks off their feet, but rather to increase mobility, feelings of well-being, and encourage physical activity in people who might otherwise think that exercise is out of reach.

The pages are in a ring binder so that it is easy to progress from one action to the next without dropping or scattering the material. Pages may be removed for personal exercise prescription. With each exercise bearing a number code, the actions may be organized in a different order to match different music sources.

Group leaders may order the music CD or ask for recommendations for other music. As new music is used, the book pages may be re-sorted to match a particular music mix.
